1. Introduction

Inner Join Technologies (“Inner Join,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Microsoft Solution Partner providing technology consulting, implementation, and managed services. We are headquartered at 910 Madison Ave, Covington, Kentucky 41011.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit innerjointech.com (the “Site”), how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have regarding your information. Please read this policy carefully. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. This Privacy Policy covers the public Site only. If you are a client of Inner Join Technologies and access our client portal, your information is handled in accordance with a separate Portal Privacy Addendum, presented at first Portal login.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

We collect personal information you choose to give us, including when you:

  • Submit a contact form — we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, and message content.
  • Sign up for our newsletter — we collect your email address and, optionally, your name.
  • Complete an assessment or diagnostic tool — we collect your contact information and your responses.
  • Apply for a job or send a resume — we collect your name, contact information, work history, and any other information you include.
  • Communicate with us by email — we collect the content of that correspondence.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies, including:

  • IP address and approximate geographic location (country, state, city)
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Pages visited, time on page, and navigation path
  • Referring website or search query
  • Device type and screen resolution

This information is collected via Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) and is used to understand how visitors use the Site and to improve our content and user experience. See Section 5 (Cookies) for more detail.

2.3 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect payment card information, Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, or health or medical information through this Site. We do not sell products or process financial transactions on this Site.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about our services.
  • To send you newsletters, insights, or marketing communications you have requested. You may opt out at any time.
  • To process and evaluate job applications.
  • To improve the Site and understand how visitors engage with our content.
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights.
  • To detect and prevent fraud or misuse of the Site.
  • To submit information to Microsoft Dynamics 365, our customer relationship management platform, for the purpose of managing our business relationships.

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. How We Share Your Information

4.1 We Do Not Sell Your Information

Inner Join Technologies does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes. We do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.

4.2 Service Providers

We share personal information with third-party service providers who help us operate the Site and run our business. These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only for the purposes we specify. Key providers include:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 — our CRM platform, used to manage contact and lead records submitted through the Site.
  • Microsoft Azure — our cloud hosting and storage provider.
  • Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) — used for website traffic analysis.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights — our marketing platform, used to send newsletters and marketing communications.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal process, protect the rights or property of Inner Join Technologies, or protect the personal safety of users or the public.

4.4 Business Transfers

If Inner Join Technologies is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via a prominent notice on the Site if your personal information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

5.1 What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, and analyze how visitors use the Site.

5.2 Types of Cookies We Use

  • Necessary cookies — required for the Site to function. These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies — collect information about how visitors use the Site (pages visited, time spent, navigation paths). We use Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager for this purpose. Data collected includes IP addresses, which are anonymized where possible.

5.3 Managing Cookies

5.4 Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals to websites. The Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. If this changes, we will update this policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Our general retention practices are:

  • Contact form submissions — retained in our CRM for 3 years from last contact, or until you request deletion.
  • Newsletter subscriber data — retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
  • Job applications — retained for 1 year if no position is offered, or for the duration of employment if hired.
  • Website analytics data — retained by Google Analytics for 14 months.
  • Email correspondence — retained indefinitely, or until removed during a periodic data purge. We do not operate a fixed deletion schedule for email correspondence.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to Correction — request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Right to Deletion — request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Right to Opt Out of Marketing — unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or contacting us directly.
  • Right to Data Portability — request your personal information in a structured, machine-readable format where technically feasible.
  • Right to Know — request information about what categories of personal information we collect, use, and share.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@innerjointech.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We will respond within 30 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. 9. Security

Inner Join Technologies takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Our website uses TLS (Transport Layer Security) encryption for data transmitted between your browser and our servers. Personal information submitted through the Site is stored in access-controlled systems within our Microsoft Azure environment.

No method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we take data security seriously and implement industry-standard protections, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you have reason to believe your information has been compromised, please contact us immediately at info@innerjointech.com.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Modified” date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may provide additional notice, such as a banner on the Site. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
